Woningpas is celebrating!

The Flemish digital platform woningpas, one of the main inspirations for the iBRoad concept, recently won the prestigious Henry van de Velde Design award as ‘Digital Product’.

For 25 years, the Henry van de Velde awards have been honouring Flemish designers, companies, products, projects and services, that have a positive impact on the economy and society based on design and solutions provided. These awards are widely supported, thanks to the shared vision of a professional jury with significant expertise in their sector. The Henry van de Velde awards are recognised as some of the most prestigious design awards in Belgium.

Woningpas won the award in the category ‘digital product’ and with good reason. Woningpas is the digital passport for Flemish homes that gives building owners direct access to important information: building permits, inspection reports, certificates, data on mobility, dwelling quality, soil, energy performance and more are collected in one digital location.

Activities such as buying, selling or renting out require a lot of paperwork, fulfilling requirements from different governmental departments. These are now available at one central place, free of charge, to every owner of a property on Flemish territory, in a very user-friendly environment, very comprehensive and easy to use. In addition, woningpas gives building owners – when a house is sold – a personal renovation roadmap to stimulate citizens to implement deep renovation and to improve their home’s overall quality.

In addition to the Design award, woningpas can also become the public’s favourite! If you like what you have read above, visit https://www.henryvandevelde.be/en/edition/editie-2020 and vote for woningpas until 19 December.
